Emily holds a Bachelor's of Media Studies from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. They graduated with distinction.
Outside of media studies, Emily's realms of interest include art history, cultural studies, sociology, wellness, and psychology.
In their time at university, Emily was an active member of the community. They were Vice President Internal of the Media Studies Student Association, a volunteer and staff writer at the UBC AMS Sexual Assault Support Centre, and a Senior Editor of the Undergraduate Journal of Media Studies.
